Gary Ratushniak (1957 -)

Gary Ratushniak was born in British Columbia, Canada, where he was inspired by that region’s forests and the works of the artist and poet Emily Carr. In 1975 he met the Grosvenor School printmaker Sybil Andrews, beginning a ten-year period of studying printmaking, drawing and painting. From 1984 he lived in London, spending a year at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art, and subsequently producing linocuts, stencils and paintings.
