The printmaker and painter Sally McLaren was born in London and studied at the Ruskin School of Art in Oxford and at the Central School of Art. After further study in Paris she returned to England to teach at Goldsmith's College of Art. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers. 'Conflict' shows a debate of texture and colour, striking in its intensity.
